Traditional Dutch
Painted tiles are a traditional Dutch product for which we Dutch have
been famous for centuries. They never lose their charm and usefulness at home. Mo Tiles are rustic tiles with bright, colorful images of fish, shell fish, vegetables, canal houses, iconic buildings. A diverse collection of little art works you can hang on the wall, display and/or use in your house.

A tile or a tableau
Every tile can be displayed as a separate art work. You can hang it on the wall or use it as a coaster. With oblong compositions you may opt for a so-called mini tableau where the image runs over 2 adjoining tiles.
You might want an image on more than two tiles, or you want a subject which is not part of the collection (yet). Or, what is also nice, more Mo Tiles on a tiled wall: please contact us if you are considering this.
Mini easel, frame or cork sticker
You can order a mini easel with your tile so you can display it anywhere you like. Or a frame if you prefer to hang it on the wall. The frames are made by Cre8 in Amsterdam (NL): a creative workshop where youngsters who had a difficult time can learn a trade. If you buy a frame you will support them. You can also use the tile as a coaster. Tot his end you can order a corck sticker to prevent scratches on your table.
Sustainablilty
The designs are painted on glass plates and then printed on Dutch tiles. After the designs are scanned, the painted designs are wiped off so the glass can be re-used
We will be thrilled if you buy one or more Mo Tiles. When you are in the neighbourhood you can also pick up your order at ours in Amsterdam. Moreover, we are regularly present on local markets and fairs where you can buy our tiles and pick up your order.

About us
Mo Tiles is established by Monique de Meyere in 2023 to sell her self-designed tiles. The designs are painted in oil paint on a glass plate. The designs are scanned an subsequently printed on traditional tiles after which the tiles are baked again. This way it is water and heat resistant. By designing on glass the images are bright and colorful. Our mission is to make our clients happy with a little art work in their homes! We can also provide you with plain tiles if you want to use one or more Mo Tiles on a tiled wall.
